Back in the saddle again

After an almost four month vacation from nursing school I am gearing up start back. This semester is the rough and tumble semester at MTSU. We have OB and Med-surge classes and clinicals. While this is only two classes and clinicals it counts for 14 hours and is jam packed with information. There really is no down time except the weekends and if you are like me you need those two days to study in order to keep on top of everything. The history of this nursing school shows most fails in this semester due to lack of time management and after receiving the first e-mails to get us started last week I can see why. We have already been assigned more quizzes for orientation to clinical sites and reading than we have ever been before. But nobody said it was supposed to be easy and if you really want something you have to work for it so that's what I plan to do! I cannot stress the importance of a group for this semester. Not just for studying but to keep each other on track and for the support since there is a lot coming at you from each direction. Now at MTSU we are fortunate to have some pretty awesome professors that want you to succeed as much as you want to pass so I don't believe this semester will hurt any of us but I still ask for prayers that I don't take all the stress out on my home family or nursing school family. Haha! Well I will do my best to keep you informed and good luck this fall whatever you are tackling. :)
