Orientation

     Well today was much better than I was anticipating. The teachers I met today were wonderful! I can't wait to have them in class. Everyone who spoke was actually fun. I learned some new things about the program and was able to get some of the paper work out of the way as well. I am definitely more excited to get started and go through this program now. I am a little scared of letting everyone down... But That won't happen so no worries! ;) Also learned about the SNA (student nurses association) Which is a great organization that connects student nurses, gets them involved in the community, and helps with networking. Not to mention it looks great on a resume! I can't wait to get involved in that either. I also have a pullover type jacket I can buy that has the school of nursing logo and my graduation yr. Plus each semester of nursing students gets a specific color of stripe across the jacket so you will know which semester everyone is in. There is so much I am excited about! =D
     Was also able to get in some studying with Terry and Steve today. Hoping to have another session tomorrow with Emily and the guys. Trying to get a head start because this book is pretty tough. :) Very glad I have friends to go through it with and a supporting family! I am very blessed. Well going to work on some more patho or maybe start on gero... not sure. Either way I'm hitting the books! Have a good night everyone!
